Role
We are seeking an experienced E3D Designer to join a major engineering project within a highly regulated industry. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, large-scale projects in a collaborative and innovative environment.
You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of detailed design packages for an ongoing construction programme, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute detailed design and draughting activities in support of an active construction programme.
- Produce 3D models of multi-discipline service supports using E3D.
- Generate construction-level design documentation, including:
- General arrangement drawings
- Detailed support drawings
- Material and item take-offs
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to resolve layout constraints and support-related challenges.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' engineering experience within a regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of UK statutory regulations, industry design guides, and applicable standards.
- Proficiency in the following software:
- AVEVA E3D (formerly PDMS)
- AVEVA E3D Draft
- Autodesk Plant 3D
- Navisworks Manage
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
